Homeless Americans:

Homeless people who suffer from addiction and the family disease of alcoholism need our help. There are legions of them living on the streets of Los Angeles and other cities.

For most homeless people, addiction is the root cause of their homelessness. 

Tragically, the people who suffer are not treated only as lower-class citizens; they are treated like the untouchables of a brutal caste system.

No human being should be treated like that. EVER. Certainly not in the richest state in the richest country in the world.
